  1. Lausanne, Switzerland, August 19, 2019 - With three weeks of events left on the 2018-2019 international beach volleyball calendar, the FIVB World Tour prepares for its busiest week of the season with tournaments on three continents in four countries.

  3. Moscow, Russia, August 18, 2019 – Aleksandrs Samoilovs & Janis Smedins defended their 2018 title of the Moscow four-star event on the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour. In the 2019 men’s final, the 18th-seeded Latvians once again defeated reigning Olympic champion Alison Cerutti, this time with his current partner Alvaro Morais Filho.
  4. Moscow, Russia, August 18, 2019 – Joana Heidrich & Anouk Verge-Depre are the new champions of the Moscow four-star event on the 2019 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour. The 15th-seeded Swiss pair won the women’s final at the Luzhniki centre court to claim the gold, their first on the Tour as a pair so far.
  5. Knokke-Heist, August 18, 2019 – Jérémy Silvestre and Timothée Platre marked their FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour debut as a pair at the Knokke-Heist 1-Star tournament by winning gold on Sunday.
  6. Knokke-Heist, Belgium, August 18, 2019 – Andrea Galindo and Claudia Galindo claimed their first FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour medals when they won the Knokke-Heist 1-Star gold medal match on Sunday.
  7. Moscow, Russia, August 17, 2019 – Second-seeded Alison Cerutti & Alvaro Morais Filho of Brazil will face Aleksandrs Samoilovs & Janis Smedins (seed #18) of Latvia in Sunday’s men’s gold medal match at the Moscow four-star stop on the 2019 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour.
  8. Knokke-Heist, August 17, 2019 – Pavel Shustrov and Alexey Gusev will try to end the hopes of Anshel Ver Eecke and Tim Lemmens - Belgium’s last remaining team in the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Knokke-Heist 1-Star tournament – when they meet in the semifinals on Sunday.
  9. Knokke-Heist, August 17, 2019 –Andrea Galindo and Claudia Galindo will face top seeds Emi van Driel and Raïsa Schoon in the Knokke-Heist 1-Star semifinals on Sunday and in doing so try to stop them from winning a third FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour gold medal in 2019.

Moscow, Russia, August 17, 2019 – Brazil’s Taiana Lima & Talita Da Rocha Antunes (seed #17), who came into the main draw from Wednesday’s qualifications, and Switzerland’s Joana Heidrich & Anouk Verge-Depre (#15) will play in Sunday’s big final of the Moscow four-star stop on the 2019 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour.
