State Volleyball Tournament
Diana Kramer, the head coach of the New Bremen Cardinal Volleyball Team received the 2023 Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association Sportsmanship, Ethics, and Integrity Award during the OHSAA State Volleyball Tournament on Friday, November 10, 2023. Congratulations Coach Kramer! Thank you for representing the District 8 Coaches Association, student athletes, and communities.
Congratulations to the New Bremen Cardinal Volleyball Team and the St. Henry Redskin Volleyball Team who proudly represented the District 8 of Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association in the OHSAA State Volleyball Tournament at Wright State University’s Nutter Center.

St. Henry was defeated by the Cougars of Lake Catholic in the Division III Semi-Final match on Thursday, November 9, 2023 in 3 sets 22-25, 14-25, and 20-25.
New Bremen Cardinals
New Bremen defeated Shenandoah Zeps in the Division 4 semi-final match on Friday, November 10, 2023 in 4 sets 25-12, 25-14, 20-25, 25-19. New Bremen advanced to the state final match and defeated the Senecas of Calvert in 4 sets 25-22, 26-28, 25-22, and 25-16. New Bremen earned the 2023 Division IV State Championship Title. This is the first time New Bremen has won BACK-TO-BACK Volleyball State Titles. Congratulations New Bremen!

Senior All Star Match:
The District 8 Senior All Star Match will be played at Coldwater High School on November 15, 2023 at 7:00. Senior All Star participates can report to Coldwater High School by 6:30 pm and wear their school jersey. Admission for the match will be $3.00 for adults and $2.00 for students.

AVCA- National High School Coach of the Year
Diana Kramar of New Bremen High School was named the AVCA National High School Coach of the Year 2022.

DIANA KRAMER, NEW BREMAN HIGH SCHOOL (OH)
- Guided New Bremen to a 28-1 record and the 2022 Ohio Division IV volleyball state title
- Marked the fifth time since 2017 the school has either finished as state champs (2017, 2019, 2022) or state runners-up (2018, 2020)
- Took the head volleyball job at New Bremen HS, following six years coaching at St. Henry HS
- Between the two schools, she has a 315-40 career record
- Her 300th victory came in a late-September 3-1 win over Fort Loramie
- Five of her teams have earned the OHSVCA Coaches’ Poll Championships
